Love this cover.
The Witches of BlackBrook follows a true witch through time. Her name is Trin...in this life, and all she wants is to find her sister whom she lost when she cast a spell that caused shit to hit the fan.
What can I say about this tale?
Trin and her sister's story held my attention (which is hard to do). I quite enjoyed the everyday spells they used and the author's take on the world of Wicca. Example of one of the spells: "Goddess of love, Goddess of light, bless my girls on this full moon's night. Spark their powers from deep within, let their journey as witches begin." This is from their mother.
The characters were very relatable and lovable. In conclusion, I liked the story, I might even get the paperback one day, but I kinda saw the plot coming. But there could be other reasons for that. 😉 Also, my other issue, I craved more detail. But I'm a detail whore. I always tell my clients, details, details, details.
I give this 4
And it's recommended.
