Fallen by Lauren Kate (Movie vs. Book)

I know there's probably a plethora of other posts about this but I just watched the movie and I wanna talk about it.

Short version; the movie isn't bad, but it's just not how I wanted it to go. It doesn't fit the original work of art, doesn't do it justice.

Fallen by Lauren Kate was released in 2009 under Delacorte Press.

Let us just stop and admire this cover, shall we? It makes my blackened heart go pitter pat, if ya know what I'm sayin'.

This book has everything, romance, humor, action, angelic wings, hot humans... It's simply magical. It's actually one of the first books I fell in love with, so, it's very special to me.

The first scene is based back in the day in one of the many lives Luce and Daniel have lived together... where was that in the movie?? So, Luce has been through some shit, resulting in her landing in Sword & Cross, a not-so-great school. It's the school for troubled kids. Where I probably belong. There she meets Daniel... again, which is the greatest introduction ever. First impressions, fuck yeah. That was also different in the movie.

I'm gonna keep this short because I'm just rambling. In here they basically changed everything. The school is how it was described....for the most part. The movie was cool, the graphics weren't terrible but it just was ...eh. A for effort.

What'd you think about it?
